Not what I want, but what I need

Just some quality time with my little cousins. since we’ve been stuck inside for 2 days, going on 3, we’ve been spending a lot of time together. I haven’t spent this much time with them since we were little and i used to babysit them all the time. They used to always ask to come over to my house, watch movies, paint their nails, and do their hair. now i’m staying at theirs.

tonight we watched the princess and the frog. CUTE MOVIE. I loved Princess Tiana and her sassy, hardworking attitude.. The moral of the story was to dig deep and find what you need in life.. when you have all that you need, you will have everything that you could possibly want. What you need in life, is love and family. towards the end, i looked over at my cousins.. and it was just perfect. it’s was one of the rare moments that the 3 of them were all getting along and the 4 of us were all crammed onto my bed to watch a movie off of my laptop. The girls had even asked me to paint their nails. it was like we were little again :)

love and family will always be the only things i need in life
